MDC’s Galleries of Art + Design Present Panel and Exhibitions on Architecture

Miami, October 8, 2012 - Miami Dade College’s (MDC) Galleries of Art + Design will present A+A3, a two-day panel on Thursday and Friday, Oct. 11 – 12, about current trends in the art of architecture and design. In conjunction with the panel, three exhibitions focusing on the connection between art and architecture will be presented in at various MDC campuses. The panels are sponsored by VIA Design Studio. Panel and exhibitions are free and open to the public

 Speaker: Matthew Gillis, principal of GILLIS and professor at SCI-Arc, Otis College of Art and Design and Woodbury University.

Artist Talk at North Gallery, 1 – 2 p.m.
 Artist Vladimir Manic will discuss his paintings on view at the gallery and the relationship between architecture and art in his work.
