MDC’s Miami Culinary Institute to Participate in 10th Anniversary New York Times Travel Show
Miami, January 16, 2013 - Miami Culinary Institute’s (MCI) Director Chef John Richards, MCI Director of Restaurants Chef Norman Van Aken and student Michael Galadza will participate in Taste of the World 2013 at the 10th Anniversary New York Times Travel Show on Saturday, Jan. 19. The event, which runs Jan. 18 – 20, will feature nearly 500 exhibitors representing more than 150 countries focusing on travel destinations and culinary experiences.
With five separate stages, Taste of the World provides guests exceptional culinary demonstrations and the opportunity to savor a variety of global flavors. Award-winning Chef Van Aken will demonstrate dishes from Tuyo, MCI’s celebrated restaurant, and share some recipes from his new cookbook, My Key West Kitchen.
