The Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce Recognizes One of Miami Dade College’s Own for Her Leadership and Professional Excellence

ILIANA CASTILLO-FRICK, MDC VICE PROVOST, HUMAN RESOURCES

Miami, March 21, 2013 - Congratulations are in order for Miami Dade College’s (MDC) Vice Provost for Human Resources, Iliana Castillo-Frick.  The Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce recently presented her with the Excellence in Human Resources Award. The accolade recognizes an HR executive who has demonstrated extraordinary and visionary leadership, embodies professional excellence, and exhibits dedication to his/her field.

Castillo-Frick has been serving as the chief human resources officer for the College’s seven campuses and two centers for more than seven years.  She’s been working for MDC since 2003, and has served as vice provost for the human resources division since January 2007.

Before joining the College, Castillo-Frick held a number of senior-level human resources positions in the financial services industry for more than 20 years. She is actively involved in the local community and serves on various non-profit boards.
