Miami Dade College Kendall Campus to Host Meeting of the MathMinds, Registration Deadline is Feb. 28

Miami, February 24, 2014 - Miami Dade College (MDC) is looking for the best and brightest to participate in its third Meeting of the MathMinds. The event will take place on Saturday, March 15, 2014, in the Gymnasium (Building G) at MDC’s Kendall Campus.

The competition is open to students attending public and private high schools.The deadline to register is Friday, Feb. 28th.

A maximum of two teams is allowed per school, each consisting of two to four students. The competition will be divided into two evaluations: the individual and team exam. The same students will compete in both evaluations. MDC’s Mathematics Club will also host a mini competition.

About the Kendall Mathematics Club

The Miami Dade College Mathematics Club consists of students who are dedicated to enhance their knowledge in mathematics beyond the topics covered in regular courses. Students participate in many different competitions, including the AMATYC competition as well as the State Mathematics Olympiad
