About the Nursing Degree Program from Miami Dade College

Get a Nursing Degree, A Career for the Compassionate

At its heart, studying in our nursing programs in Florida is about caring for the patient. In this two year program, our faculty will build on your natural compassion with the competency, critical-thinking skills and cultural awareness needed to help you be an exemplary health care provider.

Designed for Florida licensed registered nurses (R.N.) or those students who have already earned Associate of Science in Nursing degrees from other accredited nursing schools in Florida. We also cover advanced nursing practice, leadership, management and education positions in a multicultural society.

We have two clinical rotations that provide our students an opportunity to build real-world experience in a variety of settings.
