Economics of Chocolate* (MPP) Elementary School Teachers January 18 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM Miami Dade College – InterAmerican Campus, Room 401 An award-winning workshop with innovative curriculum and creative activities designed to introduce basic economics concepts to young students (K-5). Topics covered include resources, scarcity, opportunity cost, trade/exchange, and producers/consumers.
Next Gen Personal Finance (MPP) Middle & High School Teachers January 18 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM Miami Dade College – InterAmerican Campus, Room 3103 Participants will understand the resources available on NGPF's website and work with other teachers to share ideas, receive feedback, and expand their network.
Economics of Trade and China* (MPP) Middle & High School Teachers March 14 3:30 PM – 7:30 PM Miami Dade College – InterAmerican Campus, Room 401

Teachers will learn how to introduce the concept of global trade to their students using examples exploring the U.S. relationship with China.

of Scientific Discoveries (MPP)

Evolving Historic Skyline & Economic Impact of Biscayne Boulevard Middle & High School Teachers April 17 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM Miami Dade College – Wolfson Campus,
Room 8106

Led by HistoryMiami Museum Resident Historian and distinguished MDC Professor, Dr. Paul George. This workshop features Downtown Miami's transformation through the lens of its iconic skyline and bustling economic thoroughfare.

AP Macroeconomics Review Session for Teachers and Students High School Economics Teachers & Students
April 25 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM Miami Dade College – West Campus, Room 1102

A review session for high school economics teachers and students designed to provide expert content training, test taking tips and strategies in preparation for the upcoming Advanced Placement Exam in Macroeconomics.
