Another focus of the VESSI project
is to facilitate the academic and social success of
non-traditional students such as those graduating from GED
or Home School programs, high school completers who have not
passed the Florida Comprehensive Assessment Test (FCAT), and
those who have been out of school for a year or more.
In-coming students in this category may take advantage of
pre-admission guidance, CPT orientations and basic skills
refresher workshops, Smart Start college orientation
programs, academic and career direction, and mentoring. |
