To assist students in achieving academic success, VESSI offers the Student Success Series throughout the year.  Below is a schedule for the Fall Semester. 
   

“Smart Start Orientation"

Are you a first-time in college student? If you said yes, then you do not want to miss out on this workshop. This workshop will cover everything you need to know in order to survive your first semester! This is a must-attend workshop, don’t miss out!

“Get In Step With Etiquette”

Come out to this workshop and learn how to communicate with your professors and learn from the experts what is expected from you. This workshop is a must for students who want to know everything there is to know about professors and classroom etiquette.

 

“Time Management”

“Improve Your Test-Taking Skills”

Do your palms sweat right before a test? Have you ever blanked out when you were taking a quiz? These symptoms are known as test-anxiety. Come to this workshop and learn some proven techniques that will reduce your test-anxiety for all of your classes this term.
