CNS Name Change

Campus Network Services (CNS) has changed its name to Campus Technology Services(CTS) to better reflect the wider range of functions performed within the department's scope of operations.

Merge of Multimedia Classroom Support

Campus Technology Services (CTS) has absorbed the multimedia classroom support function that belonged to Media Services and has formed one combined help-desk that will address all technical needs (multimedia and desktop) from one centralized area and make it easier for users to access technical support from one point of contact.

New Phone Number

Campus Technology Services (CTS) has changed its number to 305-237-2620 to facilitate external calls for faculty/adjuncts that may not have immediate access to an internal telephone line.

New IT Asset Management Area

Campus Technology Services (CTS) has formed a new area of operations in an effort to speed up the purchasing process for new technology and avoid some of the bottlenecks that existed in the past.

Central Receiving Area for Technology

Campus Technology Services (CTS) will soon pilot a new procedure within Learning Resources to centralize the delivery of new technology to the Kendall Campus. This will allow new technology to funnel through one central receiving point in campus where information will be collected on the asset and then delivered to the user.
