• AS Degree or Vocational Certificate seeking students who wish to upgrade or refresh their mastery of reading, language, and mathematics.
• Students who want to prepare to take or retake the CPT (Computerized Placement Test) and the TABE (Test of Adult Basic Education).
• GED students who have an interest enrolling in a vocational classes or programs at Miami Dade College.
• AA Degree seeking students who want to strengthen their basic skills. (Lab fee applies)

The S.A.I.L. Lab offers computerized, work-at-your-own-pace learning opportunities in the areas of reading, language, and mathematics. One-to-one tutorial services are also available.

The reading software programs emphasize essential specifics such as topic sentences, main ideas, vocabulary, details, chronology, inference, and comprehension.

The language software includes basic and intermediate elements of grammar usage, punctuation, word choice, literary elements, and logical thinking.

The math software ranges from basic arithmetic through college algebra.
