Vibraphonist Chris Dingman is one of the most soughtafter players and composers of his generation. Schooled in the jazz tradition, yet influenced by a wide range of music and experience, Dingman draws inspiration and meaning from a diverse set of musical sources, uniting them in a progressive approach that has earned him praise as "an extremely gifted young composer, bandleader, recording artist, and much sought-after sideman" (NPR) for his "deeply lyrical" (The New York Times) and "poignant work" (Variety).

He was voted Rising Star on Vibes in the 2012 DownBeat magazine critics poll, and he is the recipient of the 2012-2013 Chamber Music America New Jazz Works grant. A graduate of the prestigious Thelonious Monk Institute of Jazz, he has performed extensively with many of the world's greatest jazz musicians, including Herbie Hancock, Wayne Shorter, Ron Carter, Benny Golson, Jimmy Heath and Terence Blanchard.
