The Power of Words: Panel Readings with Authors*

Local author, Yosi Mazpoule brings the mean streets of Castros' Cuba to life in her debut novel, Jinetera: Story of a Cuban Prostitute.

Julie Marie is a professor of creative writing at Florida International University and has received several prestigious awards for her literary works.

Two Flute Sonatas

Dr. Terri Mitchell, flute, and Dr. Robert Remek, piano, will perform two musical masterpieces; the Sonata in A Major by French composer, Cesar Franck and the Sonata for Flute and Piano by American composer, Robert Muczynski.
