“These outstanding educators emerged from a thorough review process that drew excellent applicants from across the nation,” said Dr. Padrón. “I am very pleased they are joining us and confident they will quickly contribute to MDC’s tradition of academic excellence and community service.”

After serving as interim president at the InterAmerican Campus for the past year, Dr. Gina Cortes-Suarez now takes on the official role. Her career at the College spans nearly three decades. Previous positions she’s held include dean of academics, associate provost for college accreditation and provost for faculty initiatives.
