MDC is Gearing up for its 2009 Commencement Exercises on May 2….Save the Date!

Graduation Ceremony

Miami, March 26, 2009 - Thousands of excited students, internationally renowned keynote speakers and honorees, music and other festivities await the attendees of the 2009 Miami Dade College (MDC) Commencement Exercises which will be held on May 2. The college will host six commencement ceremonies on this special day for graduates from seven campuses. Speakers, honorees and statistics on the graduating class will be announced soon.

MDC graduations have always been momentous and memorable events. Last year, more than 8,000 students walked across the stage during graduation and speakers included US House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and former Secretary of Education, Margaret Spellings. In 2007, President Bush addressed students along with other important speakers.
