MDC Offering Study Abroad Opportunity to Italy in Hospitality and Tourism
Miami, March 15, 2010 - In addition to its national reputation in academics, the arts and even sports, Miami Dade College (MDC), throughout its 50 year history, has also been known for offering its students unique and meaningful study abroad opportunities. From Latin America to Asia and beyond, MDC students are encouraged to see the world as they learn. The latest study abroad opportunity will take place this summer from June 21 to July 19 in Italy as the college’s International Hospitality Center will offer courses in Introduction to Hospitality and Hospitality Sales for a total of six credits. The special program, open to all MDC students, will whisk students away to Italy, considered by many the cradle of tourism and hospitality.
The cost of the Italy program is $3,400 and includes all airfare, accommodations, transfers and meals. For more information, please contact Professor Maritza Marrero at 305-237-3044 or mmarrero@mdc.edu. Scholarship opportunities are available.
