MDC to Host National Conference for Training Professionals Oct. 10-12
Miami, September 20, 2010 - Miami Dade College (MDC) will welcome hundreds of educators and other higher education professionals from around the world when it hosts the annual National Council for Continuing Education and Training (NCCET) Conference on Sunday, Oct. 10 through Tuesday, Oct. 12, 2010 at the Hotel InterContinental in downtown Miami.
MDC Kendall Campus President Dr. Lourdes Oroza will officially welcome conference attendees just before general workshop sessions begin on Sunday afternoon. Administrators and staff from MDC’s trailblazing School of Community Education will also deliver presentations during the three-day conference.
The NCCET is the nation’s premier continuing education professional association. The organization keeps its members updated on industry trends, helps with networking opportunities, and gives them access to the latest leading edge programs throughout the country.
NCCET officials say this year’s conference will allow attendees to exchange ideas, share innovative solutions and explore the latest techniques and best practices in higher education.
