MDC Homestead Campus Offers New Accelerated A.A. Business Program

Fast Track program

Miami, May 31, 2011 - Get on the fast track and cross the finish line to success! Starting in the Fall 2011 term, Miami Dade College’s (MDC) Homestead Campus will offer the Fast Track Associate in Arts in Business Administration, an intensive program for students who want to earn an associate degree in just one year (three semesters).

The Fast Track program provides face-to-face instruction designed for students who are disciplined, high-achieving and goal-oriented.

In order to be eligible for the program, students must have passed the CPT/PERT exams, or preparation classes for English, reading and mathematics, must attend an orientation session and be advised by the Business Department. Financial aid is available.

Upon obtaining the accelerated degree, students may transfer to a bachelor’s degree program. MDC offers a Bachelor of Applied Science in Supervision and Management, for instance, among several other bachelor’s degree programs for in-demand careers.

The first orientation session will take place on Friday, Aug. 19, at 9 a.m., at the Homestead Campus, Room F222.
