2011 Scholarship Recipients Miami Bayside Foundation

Miami, November 8, 2011 - At a recent event honoring entrepreneurship, community involvement, and scholarship, the Miami Bayside Foundation awarded scholarships to Miami Dade College (MDC) students who exhibit an interest in entrepreneurship, and who have displayed outstanding academic achievement. 

This fall the scholarship was awarded to 19 students: Joseph Jean, Teresa C. Camacho, Angela Suarez, Mabel Cruz, Wilbertine Berkley, Zhengfang Wang, Jose M. Martinez, Marquita James, Alisson M. Dos Santos, Dominique Claude, Steven Robledo, Andrea Alarcon, David Jackson, Maria Cubillos, Mayleivis Dorta, Denis L. Sheffield, Julienne Herrera, Jeffrey Green, and Aline Cheres.

The Miami Bayside Foundation endowed a scholarship fund at MDC, which to date has awarded scholarships to more than 100 students.
