Miami Dade College’s Freedom Tower Named Finalist in “Best Building” Competition
Miami, March 30, 2012 - Miami Dade College’s (MDC) National Historic Landmark Freedom Tower is in the running in the Florida Association of the American Institute of Architects (AIA)’s contest to identify the most beautiful building in Florida.
AIA Florida launched the Florida Architecture: 100 Years, 100 Places competition to commemorate its centennial. It showcases the top 100 Florida buildings that represent the best in architectural achievement, as chosen by the organization. The public has been asked to select their favorite from these.
To vote, visit http://www.aiafltop100.org/building.cfm?idsBuilding=7. Voting closes April 6 at midnight, with results announced the following week.
