Classes at Miami Dade College’s MDC-West Resume Monday, October 15, at New Locations, as Campus is Expected to Remain Closed for Several Weeks Due to the Accident

Miami, October 13, 2012 - Classes at Miami Dade College’s MDC-West resume Monday, Oct. 15, 2012, at alternate sites, as the campus is expected to remain closed for several weeks due to the accident.

MDC-West daytime credit classes, that are Monday through Friday, will be held at MDC’s North Campus, located at 11380 NW 27th Avenue. MDC-West Evening and Saturday credit classes will take place at Ronald Reagan Senior High School in Doral, at 8600 NW 107th Ave. Parking is not available at Reagan High School. The college has established a drop-off and pick-up location at the International Mall near the Sears for transportation to and from the North Campus and Reagan High School beginning at 6 a.m.

Information booths will be onsite at the North Campus and Reagan High to assist students in finding their classrooms.

MDC-West non-credit classes will take place at Kendall Campus and nearby locations. More information is forthcoming.

The Miami Dade College family sends its thoughts and prayers to those impacted by the accident at MDC-West  especially the families and loved ones of those who perished and who were injured.
