Miami Dade College’s Tower Theater Presents Exclusive Screening of Coldplay’s Live 2012 Concert Film

Miami Dade College’s (MDC) Tower Theater is among select venues in more than 50 countries that will simultaneously screen Coldplay’s Live 2012, the band’s new full feature-length concert film, one night only at 9 p.m., Tuesday, Nov. 13. Tickets are now on sale.
Grammy-winning British rock band Coldplay has sold more than 55 million records worldwide. The band has won a number of musical awards throughout its nearly 12-year career, including seven Grammys, seven Brit Awards (winning Best British Group three times) and five MTV Video Music Awards, among other accolades. Coldplay is also an active supporter of various social and political causes, such as Oxfam’s Make Trade Fair campaign and Amnesty International.
Live 2012is the band's first concert film in nine years. It documents the band’s acclaimed Mylo Xyloto world tour, which began in June 2011. It features performances at Paris' Stade de France, Montreal's Bell Centre and last year's headlining performance at the Glastonbury Festival. The film was directed by Paul Dugdale, previously responsible for Adele's Live at the Royal Albert Hall and The Prodigy's Worlds on Fire.
