Miami Dade College Announces the Selection of Isabel Hernandez to Vice Chair-Elect to the Association of Florida Colleges Learning Resources Commission

Miami, March 4, 2013 - Miami Dade College(MDC) is proud to announce that Isabel Hernandez was chosen as vice chair-elect of the Association of Florida Colleges (AFC) Learning Resources Commission. Hernandez, who began her career at MDC, is the College Director for Learning Resources, reporting to the InterAmerican Campus.
The AFC Learning Resources Commission provides an opportunity for community and state-college employees with similar job responsibilities to enhance their professional skills and knowledge, so that they may share and recognize exemplary practices with colleagues from around the state. These commissions provide the primary vehicle to discuss and improve matters in college educational programs, curriculum development, innovative administrative and instructional procedures, as well as the general professional environment of Florida's 28 community and state colleges.
