MDC Medical Campus Now Offering Massage Therapy Vocational Credit Program in Spanish

Miami Dade College’s(MDC) Medical Campus will now offer a Spanish version of its
Massage Therapy Vocational Credit program, starting spring 2014. The new Spanish Curriculum Option is a full-time, two-semester course of study requiring 25 vocational credits (750 hours) with classes available in the evenings and on weekends.
The curriculum will be the same as the English language program, except that content and course syllabi, textbooks, library learning resources, tutorial, advisement, and other support services will be available in Spanish. In addition, the Massage and Bodywork Licensure Exam (MBLEX) will be offered to graduates in both English and Spanish.
MDC’s Massage Therapy program provides students with learning in the necessary technical competencies to function effectively as a supportive health care provider in the field of massage therapy. The program is a Career Technical Certificate that offers three tracks – Generic Option, Accelerated Option and Transitional Option.
