Miami Dade College to Feature its First Global Entrepreneurship Week at the Hialeah Campus, Nov. 18 & 19

Global Entrepreneurship Week

Miami, November 14, 2013 - Miami Dade College(MDC) will host Global Entrepreneurship Week as part of a series of educational activities designed to introduce students to new possibilities, exciting opportunities, and transformative business technology. The events – the first of their kind - will take place Monday, Nov. 18 and Tuesday, Nov. 19, at the Hialeah Campus, 1780 W 49th Street, Hialeah, Florida.

The School of Business and the School of Engineering and Technology have joined together to celebrate the innovators and job creators who launch startups that bring ideas to life, drive economic growth, and expand human welfare. This awareness campaign aims to inspire students through a scheduled speaker series and help them explore their potential as self-starters and innovators.

The guest speakers, selected for their entrepreneurial and technological experience, as well as their connection to the local community, include Frankie Coletto, founder of, Charles Walters, VP of Publishing and Cross-Platform Products of Univision, and Mark Rodriguez, Regional VP of Allied Solutions.
