Miami Dade College Hosts “Last Call” Affordable Care Act Workshops on March 29

Miami, March 5, 2014 - Don’t miss the last sessions of Enroll America informational workshops on the Affordable Care Act (ACA) offered on Saturday, March 29, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., at Miami Dade College’s (MDC) Kendall, North and Wolfson Campuses. Free and open to the public, the workshops will answer questions and provide assistance regarding Florida’s new insurance marketplace.  ACA enrollment deadline is March 31.  

Trained volunteers will be on hand to help guide MDC students and the public at large on the application and enrollment process. This effort is focused on connecting the community with the right resources and information allowing for the selection of a health insurance plan that best fits individual needs and budgets. MDC began this effort last fall and has held nearly a dozen sessions across all its campuses. 

The March 29 “Last Call” ACA workshops will take place simultaneously at:
