Miami Dade College’s School of Business at Wolfson Campus to Host Students from Ecuador

SOB UTE Seminar L2

Miami, May 15, 2014 - A group of nearly 100 university students and six professors will travel from Ecuador to attend a three-day seminar at Miami Dade College’s (MDC) Wolfson Campus, May 19 – 21. The conference, hosted by the School of Business, will include topics like how to purchase franchises, the importance of human resources in business enterprises, inventory management, and organizational leadership, among others.

The group – hailing from the Universidad Tecnológica Equinoccial (UTE) – will also visit the Federal Reserve Bank in Miami. Each student will receive an award of completion from the School of Business as well as a certificate from the Center for Financial Training (CFT). The seminars will be conducted in Spanish.

“The partnership was created in an effort to provide relevant information to the students that will complement their studies at the Universidad Tecnológica Equinoccial,” said Dr. Ana Cruz, Chair of the School of Business at Wolfson Campus. This is the third time students from UTE visit Miami Dade College.
