Miami Dade College North Campus to Host its First Baccalaureate Meet-Up July 15

Miami, July 1, 2014 - Miami Dade College’s (MDC) North Campus will host its first-ever North Campus Baccalaureate Meet-Up at 6 p.m., Tuesday, July 15, to offer the community a first-hand look at the different bachelor degree career paths available to them. 

Those interested in attending this free event can obtain information about the admissions process, financial aid, and scholarship opportunities for bachelor’s degrees. Attendees will also have the opportunity to tour the campus and speak with faculty, current students, and baccalaureate degree alumni. Potential students will also be able to begin the admissions process for the upcoming fall term.

“MDC’s bachelor degree programs are specifically designed to provide students a competitive edge to enter the workforce with a solid academic preparation and relevant, applied training,” said Malou C. Harrison, president of the North Campus. “The earning potential of graduates with a bachelor’s degree increases significantly.”

MDC’s baccalaureate degrees include biological sciences, film, television, and digital production, public safety management, education, nursing, physician assistant studies, electronics engineering technology, supervision and management, information systems technology, and supply-chain management, among others.
