MDC Chess Team Defeats Harvard, Advances to Final Four Tournament

In a dramatic final match at the 2006 Pan American Intercollegiate Chess Tournament in December, MDC's powerhouse chess team defeated Harvard University, advancing MDC’s chess masters to our fifth consecutive appearance in collegiate chess' upcoming Final Four tournament.

This year’s feat is all the more admirable considering that two members of the team were novices to the Pan American competition.
