March 1 Conference Day Abounds with Professional Development Opportunities for MDC Employees
Miami Dade College's Conference Day will be held on Thursday, March 1, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Kendall Campus. Themed "Building Blocks of Success," this year's program promises to be one of the best ever, filled with a variety of professional development opportunities, skill-building sessions, informational sessions and meetings designed to appeal to every employee group at the College. The day has been planned by representatives from every area of the College, with coordination by College Training and Development.
Program highlights include the largest vendor fair in Conference Day’s history and informational sessions on fostering creativity, the latest in technology, managing a multigenerational workforce and valuing diversity, among scores of others.
Please remember that Conference Day is considered a work day and all full-time College employees are expected to attend. The morning and lunch-time programs offer a variety of choices and the afternoon sessions are developed by departments, disciplines or areas for employees within those groups.
