Why We Remember

On Monday, we celebrate the birthday of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. We do so for reasons that are now embedded in the foundation of our country.

There can be no doubt that MDC is a reflection of Dr. King's triumph. Obvious as well is the fact that our society has room to grow to ensure equity of opportunity for all people, regardless of race or culture or national origin.

Dr. King's legacy speaks to the value and dignity of each human being. For obvious reasons, his memory is more vital today than ever. This is why we remember.

Thank you.

Eduardo
