A time for giving thanks
We have much to be grateful for this year. While every year carries new challenges, we have weathered them exceptionally well this year. The strong network of support we have in the MDC family has made this possible and is one of the College's greatest gifts.
I am continuously moved by the dedication that our faculty, staff and students exhibit each day, both inside and outside our classrooms and offices.
I am especially reminded of all of the effort that went into the Amendment 8 campaign, and most recently, the 25th anniversary of the Book Fair. We are truly a tireless community, confronting each cause and special event with as much enthusiasm and grit as the last.
Our hard work and studies can often take us away from our home lives. I hope you will use this brief Thanksgiving break as a chance to reconnect with those who matter most to you.
You have certainly earned my gratitude and I wish you and your family a very Happy Thanksgiving.
