A New Year With New Opportunities
Happy New Year and welcome back to Miami Dade College. I hope you enjoyed your holiday break and are refreshed and ready for the exciting time ahead of us.
As we move through the new year, let us each seize the opportunity to make our learning community the best it can be. Let us, the staff, faculty, and students of Miami Dade College, continue to create new benchmarks that other institutions of higher education will strive to emulate.
In our quest for excellence, let us not ignore the challenges we face, but overcome them head on, with the creativity, agility and patience that characterize this College.
Most important, let us not lose sight of what is distinctively ours, a common hunger for continued advancement and a willingness to take risks and make sacrifices to accomplish something special in our community.
