MDC to Host Career Open House

Miami Dade College will host its annual College-wide Open House at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 30, at all campuses and outreach centers. The event targets high school students, parents and anyone interested in higher education or career advancement. Each campus will award a $1,000 scholarship to be used toward in-state tuition, fees and textbooks.

Open House attendees will receive information about financial aid and scholarship opportunities, admission requirements, and the hundreds of academic and career-advancement programs the College offers. Prospective students may also take campus tours and chat with faculty, administrators and current students.

Current MDC students and others interested in learning about MDC's new bachelor's degree in nursing should attend the Medical Center Campus Open House. Information about MDC's bachelor's degree in public safety and bachelor's degree in education may be obtained at the North Campus and InterAmerican Campus, respectively.

Thank you to the student services personnel at each campus for organizing this special event, filled with networking, information-sharing and career-building opportunities.

Thank you.

Eduardo
