Remind your students to register for fall classes

It is vitally important that you remind your current students to register as soon as possible for their fall classes. Since fall registration opened yesterday, the numbers border on overwhelming:

• 521 classes have already been closed.
• 18,000 students registered, up 102% from the first day of the previous fall term.
• This equates to 153,233 credits, an increase of 104% over the first day of last fall.

The above statistics confirm that we will be facing severe limitations on available class sections for the fall term. Our estimates are that 30,000 students will not find the classes they need and 5,000 may not be able to register for any classes at all.

We can expect many new students to register in the days ahead, so please encourage your current students to register so they can obtain the classes they want and continue with their studies.

Thank you.

Eduardo
