Commencement 2011 Schedule and Speakers

Commencement is the most important event on MDC's calendar each year, representing the culmination of hard work and dedication by everyone at the College. On Friday, April 29, and Saturday, April 30, we will recognize and celebrate the accomplishments of more than 14,000 MDC students at five commencement ceremonies across the community.

The College is honored to host the President of the United States, Barack Obama. President Obama is the third U.S. President to speak at MDC’s commencement in the past four years. We are also very pleased to welcome our other commencement speakers, who are among the most respected leaders in the fields of media, education and public service. All will draw on extensive life experiences to deliver inspiring and timely addresses.

I look forward to seeing you at the ceremonies.

Thank you.

Eduardo
