President Barack Obama to Address Students at Graduation

Miami Dade College has a history of attracting the most sought-after speakers for commencement and this year is no exception. I am very pleased to announce that President Barack Obama will address students at MDC's North Campus Commencement Ceremony. President Obama will be the third U.S. President to speak at MDC's commencement exercises in four years.

This is a once-in-a lifetime opportunity for the MDC graduates, faculty and staff who will hear from the 44th President at commencement this spring. President Obama has made college access and completion a central focus of his administration and he continues the College's longstanding tradition of hosting world leaders, renowned speakers and top thinkers at graduation.

We are in the process of finalizing speakers for our other commencement ceremonies and will share the list with you as soon as it is available.

Our great history of commencement speakers is a tribute to you and our students.

Thank you.

Eduardo
