MDC North Campus
The Title V-Retooling Science for Student Success grant funds will help fortify the commitment of MDC North Campus to the sciences by providing lab instrumentation for the new state-of-the-art-science complex as well as new laboratories and learning resources for students majoring in the mathematics and science fields.
Situated on a 245-acre site, the MDC North Campus is located in northern Miami-Dade County and serves a student body that is 93% minority (43% Hispanic) and 61% low income. Our faculty and staff also reflect the diverse population of the North Campus student body.
Today, more than 165,000 students attend Miami Dade College, a state-supported college with eight campuses and numerous outreach centers. We are the largest institution of higher education in the United States and one of the most highly regarded colleges in the nation.
