James Coats

James CoatsJames Coats, B.A. English, M.A. English, father of two, husband of one, grandfather of one, has worked in the field of education for more than three decades.  His teaching history includes teaching for the army, for a prison, for a middle school (Campbell Drive), for a traditional high school (Palmetto), and finally, for a non-traditional high school (SAS).  Other vocational forays into the world of work include florist, construction laborer, doorman, ranch hand, and parimutuel Jack-of-all-trades.  Finally, throw in a love of all things oceanic, literary (especially Shakespearean), operatic and balletic, and a partial image of Mr. Coats will emerge.
