When I was a little girl, I grew up in an atmosphere of “education is very important”. My mother and father, people of strong moral character, impressed upon me, “never to be absent, never to be late, study hard and tell the truth”.  I take a personal interest in my “students-my kids”. I treat them like they were all my own. I expect their best and give them my best. Respect, consideration, and compassion are a must. I am very lucky that my parents instilled such wonderful values which I have passed on to my own children and to my SAS children. I have received hundreds maybe even one thousand letters and/or telephone calls from students and parents that I have come into contact with over the years. I am astonished that they still remember me. When I read their letters, and hear what they have to say, it never ceases to amaze me that I have actually touched so many lives in such a positive way..
