SAS Student Wins Comcast and Posse Scholarships

Miami, February 7, 2014 - School for Advanced Studies (SAS) is proud to announce that Cylena Stewart is a winner of the 2014 Comcast Leaders and Achievers Scholarship Program for $1,000. This program, funded through the Comcast Foundation, recognizes high school seniors from Comcast communities for their commitment to community service, academics, and demonstrated leadership.

Cylena has also been awarded a full four year Posse Scholarship to attend Franklin and Marshall (F & M) College in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. F & M is one of the top private liberal arts colleges in the United States with annual tuition over $46,000 per year.

Miami Dade College is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges to award associate and baccalaureate degrees.
