Yael Levy

Miami, April 15, 2013 - School for Advanced Studies (SAS) North Campus senior Yael Levy has been awarded the National Achievement Boule Foundation Scholarship by the National Merit Scholarship Corporation. This scholarship is valued at $4,000 over a four year period and is sponsored by the Boule Foundation.

National Achievement Scholars such as Yael are selected based on the quality of their academic records and their PSAT scores taken during the junior year of high school. The program is a privately financed academic competition established in 1964 specifically to honor scholastically talented Black American high school students. More than 160,000 students competed in the 2013 National Achievement Scholarship Program and Yael Levy is among only 100 of these students nationwide to be awarded scholarship monies at this level.

SAS is extremely proud of this exceptional young lady who is working towards a career in Pharmacy and will receive her Associate in Arts degree from Miami Dade College a full month before she graduates from high school.
