Elvis HatcherAttending SAS has been a magnificent experience for me. One of my favorite aspects of the school is the fact that students are able to take such an expansive variety of classes at the college. From Anthropology to Microbiology, the dual-enrollment experience offers one a number of opportunities to explore subjects that would probably not be offered at a normal high school. Further, SAS possesses a fresh and salubrious atmosphere of freedom and independence. This allows one to free oneself from the rigid paralysis of a traditional high school setting and soar boundlessly. If one wishes to take up the stern of one’s education and excel, SAS is a great place to do so. Finally, the small size of the school gives it a comfortable feeling of intimacy. An SAS student will almost inevitably be quite familiar with her/his teachers, counselors, & classmates. This made the process of applying to college much easier for me than it would have been at my old school. When I had a question or needed a recommendation, it was easy and simple to access whomever I needed to speak to. Based on my personal experience, I wholeheartedly recommend the School for Advanced Studies.
