Mission
The Mission of Miami Dade College Testing is to provide placement and assessment services that are necessary for faculty, administrators, students and the community at large to make informed educational decisions. These services are offered in an environment conducive to testing while meeting established security and proctoring standards. The Testing area also adheres to the National College Testing Association’s (NCTA) Professional Standards and Guidelines.
Miami Dade College Testing provides assessment, proctoring and student feedback services to all students, including those with special needs, as well as faculty, staff, the local community, educational institutions and businesses around the area. There are several tests administered and accepted at Miami Dade College. Most of the assessments are computer based and some are paper-pencil format.
There are nine convenient locations and each testing center is equipped with the latest computer technology and monitoring system.
In addition, there is also an Assessment, Evaluation, and Testing office for college-wide support. Miami Dade College Testing is a charter member of the Florida Association of College Test Administrators (FACTA) and a member of the National College Testing Association (NCTA).
