Glenda Phipps Elected President Of Dade County Library Association

Glenda Phipps, the Learning Resources Director at Miami Dade College’s  Hialeah Campus, has been elected president of the Dade County Library Association. She had served as vice president of the organization for the past two years.


Among Phipps responsibilities as president will to keep up with the online recognition for Dade County Public Library Association, and motivate participation from library professionals at every level.


Phipps started her career at MDC 10 years ago as a faculty member. She has two masters degrees from City College of New York and previously taught reading and writing at the Pre-College and college level in Manhattan.
