New Water Bottle Fillers Installed At North and Wolfson

By Iliana Torres

This summer water bottle fillers—one at North campus and one at Wolfson— were added to  two water fountains at Miami Dade College.

Prospero Herrera, Assistant Vice Provost of Facilities Operations, said students are pleased with the new drinking fountains.

Herrera and Vice Provost of Facilities Management, Pat Rebull, decided on the installations in an attempt “ to conserve the water bottle usage and promote sustainability.”

With  two of the new fountains installed, Facilities Operations hopes to install another drinking fountain with the water bottle filler sometime this school year at the Kendall Campus.
