Emerging Artists Student Choreography Dance Concert

The Kendall Campus Dance Department and Jubilation Dance Ensemble will present the Emerging Artists Student Choreography Dance Concert on Oct. 11 and 12.

Performances will take place Oct. 11 at 11 a.m. and 7:30 p.m. and Oct. 12 at 7:30 p.m. All shows will be at Kendall Campus,11011 SW 104th Street, in the McCarthy Theatre, Room 6120.

The shows will feature original choreography from a variety of dance genres including hip-hop, contemporary, ballet, theatre, music, literature and visual art.

Choreographers will touch on global themes of humanity with a platform of bondage, freedom, democracy, equity and equality.  

The morning matinee is free, evening performances are $5 for MDC students, who present their ID’s, $10 for the public, and free for children under 5 years old.
