300 Thanksgiving Meals Available For MDC Students In Need And Their Immediate Family Members

Miami Dade College Single Stop and Branches, Inc., a non-profit organization dedicated to empowering people through education and resources, are teaming up to provide 300 Thanksgiving meals to MDC students and their immediate families on Thanksgiving Day.


Kendall Campus Instructor Writes Dance History Book

Michelle Grant-Murray, a dance instructor at Kendall Campus, released the book Dance History: Beyond the Surface in August. She is using the textbook to teach her students this semester.


Miami Book Fair International To Celebrate Thirty Year Anniversary

The Book Fair opens its doors from Nov. 17 through Nov. 24. This year marks the 30 year anniversary of the event that brings hundreds of authors and book lovers together.


The Reporter Wins A National Newspaper Pacemaker Award

The Associated Collegiate Press awarded The Reporter a 2013 National Newspaper Pacemaker Award, considered by many as the top college journalism honor in the country. The Pacemaker is Miami Dade College’s first in 21 years in the newspaper category.
