A Midsummer’s Film Festival: Shakespeare On The Big Screen

The MDC Learning Resources Department, along with several other organizations have come together to host the Shakespeare Summer Film Festival to celebrate Shakespeare this summer at the Wolfson Campus, 300 NE 2nd Ave, Room 8401, from May 21 to July 16 every Wednesday at noon.


CINTAS Presents Impact And Legacy At Freedom Tower

The Miami Dade College Museum of Art + Design presents Impact and Legacy: 50 years of CINTAS at the Freedom Tower 600 Biscayne Blvd., an exhibit celebrating the CINTAS foundation, an organization giving exposure to Cuban-born artists and writers who work outside of Cuba.



Miami Dade College’s InterAmerican Campus, 627 SW 27th Ave, will host a Dominofest in the flag courtyard on June 18th from 12 p.m. through 2 p.m.


Reporter Alumna Lands TV Reporting Job In Texas

Melissa Adan, who served as the Kendall Campus Bureau Chief for the The Reporter during the 2011-12 school year, has landed a full-time job as a TV reporter for CBS affiliate KLBK-TV in Lubbock Texas.

Summer registration for the second six weeks is now available.


Summer Camp Registration For ArtSouth Has Begun

Registration is open for the 2014 Summer Camp Programs at Miami Dade College Campuses. There are more than two dozen camps for children between the ages of 5 and 18 held June 6 to August 8 at the Homestead, Kendall and North Campuses.


Teatro Prometeo To Participate In International Hispanic Theatre Festival

This summer’s XXVIX International Hispanic Theatre Festival of Miami (IHTF) will honor Argentina for its contribution to drama. The curtains open on July 10th and close on the 27th.


The Influencers Hits The MDC Museum of Art + Design

The Miami Dade College Museum of Art + Design, located at 600 Biscayne Blvd., is currently holding an exhibition titled The Influencers I: Prominent Works from the MDC Permanent Art Collection.



Miami Dade College's Galleries of Art + Design will present Antonio Perez Melero's, La Sultana and many other related work from May 16 to July 18 at the West Campus gallery, 3800 N.W. 115 Ave.
