Future Students

Future StudentsThe Virtual College at Miami Dade College offers distance learning degree programs and courses, an alternative to classroom based instruction. The courses are available via the internet through a learning management system (LMS) so that learners can “attend” class without ever coming to campus! Virtual College students become part of a learning community where other adult learners and faculty interact and share knowledge to better help everyone in the class grow intellectually and professionally.

Learning online provides the same valuable education as learning in the classroom while offering you the convenience of setting your own schedule. At the Virtual College, we provide students with the newest technologies to provide the highest quality education.

The Virtual College at Miami Dade College is a college-wide program housed at the Wolfson Campus. For the past several years, enrollment in online courses has been growing over 20%. Currently the Virtual College offers over 130 different courses online with over 6,000 active students.

The following degree programs are available fully online:

  • Associate in Arts, Pre-Bachelor of Arts
  • Associate in Science, Business Administration
  • College Credit Certificate
