AdmissionsHow do I get started?

Are there any deadlines?

  • Virtual courses run concurrently with face-to-face classes; therefore, you can start taking classes at the beginning of the next term. View the Academic Calendar for term dates.
  • Please submit the application 30 days prior to the term you would like to begin taking classes.

Do I have to pay a fee?

  • Credit-seeking students must pay a non-refundable application fee online with a debit or credit card.

Do I send transcripts to MDC?

  • All new and transfer students must request official, sealed transcripts from high school, GED, or college to be sent to MDC. Unofficial copies or official copies that have been opened are NOT acceptable.

Do I have to wait to find out if I have been accepted to MDC?

  • MDC is an open enrollment institution. All students who apply, pay the fee, and send official transcripts are admitted.
  • Congratulations, you may now move to the next step and complete your financial aid application.
